These are resources I've come across during my web travels. Please note that I do not necessarily recommend or endorse any of the sites here or their respective companies; I'm just providing them as links to information that charity sites may be able to use.
- Technical Resources
- Bobby - Bobby is a free service provided by CAST to help Web page authors identify and repair significant barriers to access by individuals with disabilities
- Web Accessibility Initiative - make your site open to more users by conforming to WAI standards
- Any Browser Campaign - learn how to make your site viewable by any browser
- HTML Validator - check that you're using proper HTML, according to W3C specs
CSS Validator - Check your Cascading Style Sheet code for errors.
- W3C School - learn how to do HTML, XHTML, and other web programming. This is my first resource for all web-building questions
- Anybrowser.com - another site with tools to help you create HTML that's viewable in any browser
- Charity.ca - a consultant company geared to online fundraising
- The Foundation Center - includes information, a learning lab, etc.

- TechSoup - a source of information about technology for non-profits.

Clickable Image Map Maker - A utility to create the HTML code for client side image maps.

- Charity USA - listing service for non-profit charities and their supporters
- Form 1023 for 501 (c)(3) tax exemption - this is the actual form you have to fill out to become a tax-exempt, registered non-profit in the US. It's a PDF file, so you will need the Adobe reader to view/print it.
